MHI Chairman to Attend Louisville Show in January

MHProNews has learned that Cavco Industries CEO and Manufactured Housing Institute (MHI) Chairman Joe Stegmayer has accepted the invitation from the Midwest Manufactured Housing Federation (MMHF) to address the 2012 Louisville Manufactured Housing Show. When asked what topics he plans to cover, Stegmayer replied, “On behalf of MHI and the company I represent, Cavco/Fleetwood, I will discuss MHI and our industry’s efforts to work with FHA on financing and with HUD on regulatory matters. I also will look forward to sharing news about the growing membership in MHI and our search for a new president.”

MHProNews asked Indiana Manufactured Housing Association (IMHA) executive director Mark Bowersox about the development. “Having Joe Stegmayer represent the Manufactured Housing Institute at the Louisville show creates a great opportunity for all industry members to hear about the national issues that impact their businesses everyday. In my opinion, Joe’s attendance, along with the increased size of the show, makes this a must attend event for anyone within driving distance of Louisville,” Bowersox said.

The MMHF state execs, show chairman Ron Thomas Sr., Dennis Hill and I are all very pleased to have MHI’s Chairman of the Board, Joe Stegmayer, attending the Louisville Show in January 2012. Last year was a strong return (for the Show) with lots of positive energy from attendees and exhibitors. The 2012 event promises to be even better. There are great networking and deal making opportunities. The business and profit building seminars and workshops alone would make the flight or drive worth while. There are more homes, products and services on tap that can easily be compared, all indoors in the state of the art Kentucky Exhibition Center (KEC).Those who come should walk away prepared to advance and improve in the new year. As a retailer, manufactured home community operator, developer, supplier or vendor, I would hate to miss this event. We will be there to hear what Joe Stegmayer and so many other movers and shakers will offer us.” said MHProNews publisher Tony Kovach.
