We are in that time of year when graduation exercises occur. The dictionary says that to
‘graduate means to advance from one level to another.’ The process of graduating is – as the root of the word implies – gradual. We may have a flash of insight, the ah ha! or oh, no! -moment as George Allen has put it. But usually growth is gradual, be it personal or professional graduation.
