Over $30 Billion in Opportunities

Thanks to input from a tiny segment of our industry's pros who are thinking about issues like this one, we will focus the spotlight in this column on over $30 billion in potential that ought to belong to manufactured housing. Sadly, it is overlooked to our detriment. Here is the snapshot of the issue:

While a handful have this topic on their minds, I'm not aware of anyone actively pursuing this at the association level. MHI? MHARR? MHEC members? If you have this on your active radar, please do tell! We'd be happy to share that word and your insights with thousands of other MHPros.

With the MHI Legislative session just over the horizon, it would be great if a position paper was developed to address the 30 billion plus opportunity. MH could become part of the budgetary solution and could conceivably earn tens of billions of dollars for years in the process.

Please dig in and get with MHI, MHARR, your established state or communities association and make this an issue your association pursues. Forward looking factory home builders, retailers, communities – even lenders and suppliers – could see big potential growth if we got it together on the topic linked above.
