Avalon Properties has brought in 100 new and remodeled manufactured homes to Desert Mountain Estates, a manufactured housing community it bought when it contained ten dilapidated factory-made homes and a history of police runs because of criminal activity. Located outside Alamogordo in south central New Mexico, the community is owned by Corey and Blake Donaldson who own four other communities with a total of 800 homesites. As alamogordonews.com informs MHProNews, Avalon intends to have the other 60 homesites at Desert Mountain occupied in 18 months. The community is being geared towards personnel from nearby Holloman Air Force Base although seniors and working people are the primary occupants currently.
