Manufactured Home Builder Moving Plant

Southern Energy Homes has finalized plans to move its homebuilding facility from Double Springs, Alabama to a 176,000 square foot plant in an industrial park in Russellville. The 200 employees of this manufactured housing builder will be transferred to the new operation in the northwest part of the state. The timesdaily.com says company officials did not indicate when the move may take place. MHProNews has learned plans are afoot for expansion of the factory, although no details were given. Southern Energy Homes is a brand name for Clayton Homes, a subsidiary of Berkshire Hathaway, according to Wikipedia.
