Lippert Moves Production into New Building

Manufactured housing component supplier Lippert Components, Inc. (LCI) is moving its production facility that makes mattresses and furniture for the recreational vehicle (RV) division into a 366,000 square-foot building vacated last year by Cequent in Goshen, Indiana. Cequent makes towing and trailer parts, as well as electrical and cargo carrying systems and accessories. According to what elkharttruth.com reports, Lippert intends to expand other operations when the mattress and furniture divisions move, although there is not expected be a change in the workforce. Lippert is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Drew Industries, Inc., as MHProNews knows. Cequent moved its operation to Mexico. ##
