It is with regret that we report Stephen W. Esslinger, a long standing Community Owner passed on March 23, 2012. Esslinger took over a South Orange County community in 1987, then owned by his grandparents’ trust, and built it into one of the most desireable communities along the California coast. Esslinger also championed many fights against rent control in the City of Laguna Beach and the state. he is survived by his wife Amy, and daughters, Karen and Grace and leaves behind a great legacy in the community.
