In Memorium: Andy Zafiropoulos

It is with regret that we bring the news that Andy Zafiropoulos passed away March 27 after a brief illness. Born in Greece, Zafiropoulos was a university professor of Economics, manufactured home retailer, and community developer and resident of Erie, Pennsylvania. Zafiropoulos developed, owned, and operated Blue Coral Mobile Home Village, Peach Tree Place, and with an expansion development, Summit Mobile Home Village. He was also the developer of Gladstone Heights Subdivision’ and Camelot Subdivision, both in Millcreek, Pennsylvania. Zafiropoulos was a professor of Entrepreneurial Management at Gannon University in Erie for 37 years where he introduced entrepreneurship into the business curriculum. He was preceded in death by his wife, Fayetta Garner Zafiropoulos. Memorial contributions may be made to John Kanzius Cancer Research Foundation, 130 W. 8th St., Erie, PA 16501.
