Free Energy Savings for Ark. Manufactured Housing Residents

A program in Arkansas through Entergy, which supplies energy to over 687,000 people in 62 counties, is offering a free program to help reduce energy costs in manufactured homes. David Lewis of Entergy says they will install aerators on faucets that reduces the flow of water, shower heads that use 40 percent less water which saves on the water heater bill, and light bulbs that emit less heat which will save on air conditioning costs in warm months. Brett Bolan, owner of Legion Hut Mobile Home Park in Little Rock, signed up for the program for the residents of his community a month ago and has already received positive feedback from some of his residents. As THV11 informs MHProNews, Entergy says savings can add up to nearly $1,000 over the course of a year for a single home.
