Electric awning windows at the top of the entryway stairs act as a cooling tower in the summer, and other windows allow for cross ventilation. The three-bedroom, two-bath home also features indoor and outdoor dining areas, two living rooms, a study, a kitchen, and two open decks. has learned a solar-powered water heater adds to its energy efficiency rating.
