Modular homes are being planned for the Village of Wellow on the Isle of Wight in the United Kingdom. Part of a larger development that will include site-built homes, the modular units will be single-story and utilize natural materials to better blend into the environment. Developer Neil Payne says, “Modular homes can also easily be added to by purchasing an extra module and all of the plots on this site allow for this, meaning they can be lifetime homes with people easily able to extend as their family grows.” As iwcp.co.uk tells MHProNews, the price for a one-bedroom home will be $155,000.
