Deer Valley’s Alabama Factory Unharmed by Area Tornadoes

Market Wire reports from Deer Valley’s corporate headquarters in Tampa, Florida, that their production facility in Guin, Alabama, was not damaged by the tornadoes last week, but they did lose communications and power for a day.  All utilities were restored, and the facility reopened Monday, May 2, according to Charlie Masters, CEO of Deer Valley Corporation.  He said in a phone call with MHMSM.com that  they were very fortunate to not have sustained any damage at the Alabama plant, even though it was only half an hour away from hard hit areas.  He said some of the employees experienced property damage, but no one who works at the Guin plant was injured.  Deer Valley makes manufactured homes at its Guin facility and has an idle plant in Sulligent, Alabama.
