County Ordinance Prohibits Older Homes Moving In or Around

The Ogemaw County Herald in Michigan reports that a new county ordinance will not allow any manufactured home 20 years or older to be brought into the county.  The new standards were approved unanimously by the Ogemaw County Board of Commissioners Feb. 24, and will take effect March 11.  Homes already within the county over 20 years old cannot be moved either.  The Ogemaw County Building Department will inspect the homes brought in or moved around the county to determine if they meet safety and dwelling unit requirements.
