Connexion Technologies Selected as Finalist for the 2010 NCTA 21 Awards

Cary, North Carolina, Oct. 7, 2010 – Connexion Technologies today announced it has been selected as a finalist for the 2010 NCTA 21 Awards in the category of Mid-Size Company (up to $100 million in revenue) of the Year. Judges will consider finalists’ contributions in the areas of innovation, market penetration, sales growth and employment expansion.

Winners will be recognized at the annual awards gala on Wednesday, November 10 at the Sheraton Imperial Hotel in Durham, N.C., presented in conjunction with title sponsor Grant Thornton. The theme for this year’s event is “0021: Licensed to Excel” and is expected to be attended by more than 600 business and technology leaders from across the state.

The NCTA 21 Awards are recognized as North Carolina’s most prestigious awards, celebrating innovation and excellence in North Carolina. This annual showcase honors companies and individuals in 21 categories who represent the best and brightest in technology and business.

Connexion Technologies has grown tremendously in the past three years – marked by a 1,161 percent revenue growth rate. Connexion has enhanced its network to increase bandwidth as well as expanded to reach new areas of the housing market, including multi-family, existing properties and manufactured housing. Company officials hope to double the company’s reach in 2011.
