Connexion Technologies Featured on Inc. 500

Connexion Ranks among the less than 25 percent of Returning Customers on List.

Cary, North Carolina, Sept. 7, 2010 – 2010 marks Connexion Technologies’ second consecutive year on the Inc. 500 list of the nation’s fastest growing private companies. Fewer than 25 percent of companies on the list are those making second appearances, but rapid and consistent growth since 2006 enabled its return. The list is featured in Inc. Magazine, as well as online and in a variety of other media outlets.

Also, Founder Glen Lang and Connexion were profiled in a two-page spread on pages 168-9 of the September issue of Inc. Magazine. The article describes Lang’s experience as a former mayor and how his political career shaped his role as an entrepreneur.

Connexion Technologies has grown tremendously in the past three years – marked by a 1,161 percent revenue growth rate. Connexion has enhanced its network to increase bandwidth as well as expanded to reach new areas of the housing market, including multi-family, existing properties and manufactured housing. Company officials hope to double the company’s reach in 2011.

“Fast growth at any time is a big achievement; fast growth during the past few years is just short of miraculous,” said Inc. editor Jane Berentson. “The Inc. 500 consists of these just-short-of-miraculous companies, the ones that through ingenuity and ambition have increased revenue, hired employees, and grown fast in difficult economic times.”

The 2010 Inc. 500, unveiled in the September issue of Inc. (available on newsstands August 24 to November 16 and on Inc.com), is a group of companies that are much faster-growing than last year’s crop. Aggregate revenue is $11.3 billion—down from last year’s $18.4 billion—but median three-year growth is 1,231 percent, substantially up from last year’s 880.5 percent. The companies on this year’s list employ more than 45,000 people.
