City Council brings Meetings to Communities

The Press Enterprise informs MHProNews the San Jacinto (Calif.) City Council, knowing many of the senior residents of manufactured home communities are not likely to come to council meetings at night, have developed an outreach program to bring the council and staff to their centers. Community residents’ concerns include longer crossing times for pedestrians at traffic signals and removal of debris from streets to ease maneuverability of motorized scooters. Their concern with better lighting in the communities will be brought to the attention of the community owners. Last month city leaders met with residents of the Blue Fountain Mobile Home Park. This month they will meet with folks from Parkview Estates Manufactured Home Community in this city located east of Los Angeles.
