California Modular Could Exceed Requirements for LEED Platinum

USGBC

EarthTechling reports that a new California home by Utah-based Irontown Homes is expected to receive LEED Platinum certification, the U.S. Green Building Council’s highest eco rating. The Los Altos home designed by LivingHomes and architect Ray Kappe, may actually exceed USGB’s point requirements. The company cites a climate-controlled factory manufacturing process as instrumental to their homes’ “strict quality control process, cost savings, precision scheduling and material waste prevention.”
