The Emmet County Board of Supervisors in Estherville, Iowa has granted a $448 tax abatement to the Green Acres manufactured housing community (MHC) for an abandoned home no one has lived in or paid taxes on for four years. As the esthervilledailynews.com tells MHProNews.com, Treasurer Vickie Jurrens attempted several times to collect taxes from the previous owner who abandoned the property. Monte Burrell asked permission to demolish the manufactured home and remove it to the landfill. ##
