Today’s lighter side: 60 snakes removed from ‘mobile home’

Photo_credit_WSPA_posted_on_Manufactured_home_marketing_sales_management_MHProNews.com_MHMSMWSPA reports that Henderson County deputies removed some 60 snakes and lizards, some of which were considered poisonous, from a western North Carolina ‘mobile home.’ Henderson County Sheriff Rick Davis said they learned about the problem when the reptiles owner was bitten by a venomous snake. Most of the snakes and reptiles were taken to the North Carolina Museum of Natural Science. No deputies were injured during the removal process. Investigators are checking to see if any laws were broken, since keeping venomous snakes is not illegal in North Carolina.
