Couple Sues over Manufactured Home

A couple in Ripley, West Virginia have sued CMH Homes, Inc. dba Freedom Homes No. 642 in Jackson County Circuit Court for allegedly selling them and installing a defective manufactured home that they could not use as intended. While wvrecord.com does not specify the nature of the damage, MHProNews has learned the couple is charging the defendants with negligence, fraud, breach of contract, bad faith and emotional distress, among others, and is seeking an undisclosed amount in damages. The suit is also brought against American Bankers Insurance, HomeFirst Insurance Agency, and a John Doe installer. According to the complaint, the defendants allegedly refused to repair the damage.
