Old Military Base Renovated for Displaced

In the wake of Hurricane Sandy, nj reports the New Jersey governor’s office and the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) are adding more units of housing stock at the former Fort Monmouth military base to the 45 currently being renovated. Additionally, the Fort Monmouth Economic Revitalization Authority is trying to spearhead addition of another 375 housing units. The administration also seeks to site manufactured homes in communities where space is available, as MHProNews has learned.
