Modular House Donated to School

The students at Bosworth Academy in Desford, Leicester, England used their math skills to site a modular two-story home on the grounds of the school. Principal of the school, Chris Parkinson, says of the building which will be used in part for vocational training, “The house will be used by students of all abilities to enrich their studies. Even its arrival demonstrated physics and applied math in action. It’s a fantastic resource for the college.” The school had approached Tingdene Homes about recycling scrap timber, and the company decided to donate the modular house to the school.
