Turning Lemons into Lemonade

Turning Lemons into Lemonade
by Tony Kovach

On of my favorite Zig Ziglar quotes is this:

“When life hands you lemons, make Lemonade.”

If every time a business encountered a problem or situation, it approached that challenge with a solution orientation, how much further ahead would that business be? If we personally took those sour lemon situations and made them into lemonade, how much further ahead would you be or I be?

The Future is Calling Today

As a result of last week’s article referenced in last week’s blog, linked below http://www.mhmarketingsalesmanagement.com/blogs/tonykovach/positive-no-cost-public-relations/ a mover and shaker in the real estate development world gave me a call. We met on Thursday for breakfast. We met again Saturday for lunch, a ground level tour of his model homes in Chicago. The vision this gent …

A Call To Action

A Call To Action

Putting American modular, pre-fab and manufactured home builders to work building strong, modest homes for Haitians.

…A rough estimate of 10 billion dollars could put thousands back to work building housing instead of tents for those 2,000,000 Haitians. Properly invested, that 10 billion could build 400,000 strong yet modest dwellings, transport and install them. Compare that to passing out billions for unemployment checks, which makes more sense? Would we rather put Americans back to work, and let American know-how team up with Haitian labor installing those homes; or would we rather see waves of refugees coming to our shores as so often happens after political or economic disasters overseas? How long will 2 million people live in tents 710 miles from Miami, Florida?…

In this time of reflection, as one year winds down and another is ready to dawn, the desire to recognize and honor the service of others bubbled forth within like a fresh spring. It is easy to begin with those whom we know: parents, teachers, role models in your business or profession. Beyond those note worthy’s are…
