As reported in our Daily Business News, the QM rules (Qualifying Mortgage) are expected to be issued by the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) after midnight tonight. Sources tell MHProNews that the time line for implementation of the QM is expected to be a year. We will share news and analysis on the developments as it becomes available.
