The end of the year is an ideal time to reflect on or take action on:<\/p>\n
1. Progress made toward your goals.<\/p>\n
2. The lack of progress made toward your goals.<\/p>\n
3. The establishment of new goals.<\/p>\n
4. The letting go of old goals that no longer interest or motivate you.<\/p>\n
5. Who you are surrounding yourself with in your life and career.<\/p>\n
6. What were your major life and career highlights during the previous year.<\/p>\n
7. What did you fail miserably at and why or how.<\/p>\n
8. What you need to change in the new year to find<\/p>\n
9. How has your philosophy of life changed.<\/p>\n
10. What were your major lessons in life this year<\/p>\n
11. How much time you are spending on self-improvement.<\/p>\n
12. How much money you are spending on self-improvement books, tapes, classes and seminars.<\/p>\n
13. Mistakes in judgment that cost you time, energy or money.<\/p>\n
14. A relationship that may need some extra effort, time or energy.<\/p>\n
15. Who or what it is time to let go of in your life.<\/p>\n
16. Projects or activities that need more\/less time.<\/p>\n
17. What are some old habits it is time to change.<\/p>\n
18. What are some new habits you would like to begin.<\/p>\n
19. If you could change only one thing in your life next year, what would it be?<\/p>\n
20. If you could improve one area of your life next year, what would it be?<\/p>\n
I generally take the last two weeks of every year to answer these questions as well as others too numerous to mention in this short tip. But I am sure you have the idea.<\/p>\n
Spend some quiet time this week or during the month of December reflecting on some or all of these questions. You can also come up with some additional questions if you are inclined. Don’t just settle for these.<\/p>\n
