So the following report should be of keen interest to virtually everyone connected to the industry. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"CENTER\"><span style=\"font-family: Tahoma, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.MHProNews.com\/blogs\/daily-business-news\/you-shouldnt-have-to-be-a-lawyer-to-run-a-business-in-america-today\/\" target=\"_blank\"><b>You Shouldn&#8217;t have to be a lawyer to run a business in America today<\/b><\/a><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Tahoma, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">The high cost of doing business in America keeps going higher. Are we going to allow a combination of federal, state or local officials to choke off free enterprise? <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Tahoma, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">Remember, since some 60% of all private sector jobs come from small businesses, so even big business needs small business for a healthy economy.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Tahoma, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><b>You can&#8217;t make this stuff up&#8230;<\/b><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Tahoma, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">Since Bill Clinton famously said the era of big government is over, we&#8217;ve had back to back presidents who have proven that statement wrong. First, President Bush and then big-government-on-steroids President Obama have given us a close look at what big government in action looks like.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Tahoma, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">Industry veterans and long time readers here will know that the FHFA has so far prevented the GSE&#8217;s from fulfilling their Duty to Serve <a href=\"http:\/\/manufacturedhomepronews.com\/masthead\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/11\/quinn-dombroski-flickrcreative-commons-posted-masthead-blog-mhpronews-com-.png\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-full wp-image-9254\" src=\"http:\/\/manufacturedhomepronews.com\/masthead\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/11\/quinn-dombroski-flickrcreative-commons-posted-masthead-blog-mhpronews-com-.png\" alt=\"quinn-dombroski-flickrcreative-commons-posted-masthead-blog-mhpronews-com-\" width=\"231\" height=\"224\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.manufacturedhomepronews.com\/masthead\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/11\/quinn-dombroski-flickrcreative-commons-posted-masthead-blog-mhpronews-com-.png 231w, https:\/\/www.manufacturedhomepronews.com\/masthead\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/11\/quinn-dombroski-flickrcreative-commons-posted-masthead-blog-mhpronews-com--150x145.png 150w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 231px) 100vw, 231px\" \/><\/a>manufactured housing and underserved markets under HERA 2008. We are still blocked from accessing the secondary markets for finance. So private lenders who keep loans into portfolios explain that it is simple math that causes the rates on \u201chome only\u201d (Personal property or chattel) loans where they currently are. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Tahoma, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">The CFPB seems to think that makes MH lenders evil! Yet go around the corner in DC to another federal building, and the fact that higher premiums for the FHA loan program to offset risks and losses is somehow okay?<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"CENTER\"><span style=\"font-family: Tahoma, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.MHProNews.com\/blogs\/daily-business-news\/fha-loan-performance-and-fund-improving-report-replete-for-manufactured-housing-lenders\/\" target=\"_blank\">FHA loan performance and fund improving, report replete with irony for Manufactured Housing Lenders<\/a><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Tahoma, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">Help me, please! Let me see if I understand this, would you? Our MH lenders can&#8217;t have rates too high, because we&#8217;ll be labeled, tarred and feathered. But the same principle applied to federal FHA loans is good for the people? <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Tahoma, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">Level the playing field, says <a href=\"http:\/\/www.mhmarketingsalesmanagement.com\/blogs\/industryvoices\/?p=2202\" target=\"_blank\">Amy Bliss<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.mhmarketingsalesmanagement.com\/blogs\/industryvoices\/?p=2206\" target=\"_blank\">DJ Pendleton.<\/a> Here on the <i><b>Masthead,<\/b><\/i> we agree. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Tahoma, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">There is a path to turning the tide back to saner, less intrusive and more responsive government. We believe MH can play a serious role in that process.
