To protect sources, we&#8217;ve been unable to do more than <a href=\"http:\/\/manufacturedhomepronews.com\/masthead\/literally-historic-changes-are-in-process-in-manufactured-housing\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">hint before today about what is now a done deal<\/a>. More such moves are rumored to be coming down the pike, along with consolidations that will place more in the hands of a few.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #222222;\"><span style=\"font-family: Tahoma, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">Manufacturers tell us that consolation or closure could easily hit their sector before another 6 months goes by. Regulations are a part of the challenge, but let&#8217;s be clear, it isn&#8217;t the only one.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Tahoma, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">Another veteran told me Monday, \u201c<span style=\"color: #b84700;\">Tony, we have plants in our state operating at maybe 35% capacity<\/span>.\u201d Some of the commentary that followed can&#8217;t be shared at this time. When I commented to that pro that we should be doing 4 to 6 times the new manufactured home sales volume that we currently are, his two word reply? \u201c<span style=\"color: #b84700;\">At least.<\/span>\u201d<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Tahoma, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">Would <b>U.S. Bank or PWSC have pulled out if we were shipping 300,000 to 400,000 new HUD Code MHs a year? <\/b> Unlikely! Before you say something negative like, that 300,000 to 400,000 sales level be can&#8217;t done today; really?
