Aware of the Bad, Focus on the Good in Manufactured Housing"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Since you, me and everyone of our living friends, associates and acquaintances has both strengths and weaknesses, isn&#39;t it amazing how often some focus on the bad rather than the good? Isn&#39;t the better path to be aware of a weakness or problematic habit &ndash; address it &#8211; while gladly embracing all the good a person brings to the table?<\/p><div id=\"manuf-591443645\" class=\"manuf-content manuf-entity-placement\"><script async src=\"\/\/pagead2.googlesyndication.com\/pagead\/js\/adsbygoogle.js?client=ca-pub-3870480136270376\" crossorigin=\"anonymous\"><\/script><ins class=\"adsbygoogle\" style=\"display:block;\" data-ad-client=\"ca-pub-3870480136270376\" \ndata-ad-slot=\"\" \ndata-ad-format=\"auto\"><\/ins>\n<script> \n(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); \n<\/script>\n<\/div>\n<p>Some of us are grumpier or more prickly than others! The native Americans had a maxim: we <i>should not judge someone until we&#39;ve walked a mile in their moccasins<\/i>. That doesn&#39;t mean we ignore flaws, just that we should be as understanding as possible, because we each have ours too.<\/p>\n<p>Which brings us to what&#39;s needed and what&#39;s good in manufactured housing.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" alt=\"Kinzler_Ross_manufactured-housing-production_chart-posted-masthead-blog-mhpronews-com-\" height=\"218\" src=\"http:\/\/manufacturedhomepronews.com\/masthead\/wp-content\/uploads\/Kinzler_Ross_manufactured-housing-production_chart-posted-masthead-blog-mhpronews-com-(2).png\" width=\"300\" \/><\/p>\n<p><b>Challenges and Opportunities in Manufactured Housing today<\/b><\/p>\n<p>Our industry has been on a slow, steady 4 year up tick.<\/p>\n<p>That&#39;s good, but we must not lose sight of the fact that we are at roughly 30% of our traditional new home market share &ndash; that&#39;s not good &#8211; <i>when based on the market, we ought to be well above that 21% traditional new housing starts mark<\/i>. We <i>must not be tempted to &#39;settle for&#39; the results we now experience<\/i>.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<div><u><a href=\"http:\/\/www.mhmarketingsalesmanagement.com\/blogs\/industryvoices\/?p=2054\" target=\"_blank\">Ross Kinzler<\/a><\/u> spoke about the &ldquo;lost decade,&rdquo; see the chart above, and that it ends only when we make it end.<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<div><u><a href=\"http:\/\/www.mhmarketingsalesmanagement.com\/blogs\/industryvoices\/?p=2067\" target=\"_blank\">Scott Roberts<\/a><\/u> shared a concrete example of how we can do better, he&#39;s doing it.<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>How can more of us advance past where we are today?
