We believe there is one.<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<div>Instead of almost pure anti-Manufactured Home Industry stuff in the news, we are seeing more mixed messages with some silver lining &#8211; think the <b><a href=\"http:\/\/www.mhmarketingsalesmanagement.com\/home\/industry-news\/industry-in-focus\/7370-investors-discover-the-walmart-of-affordable-housing\" target=\"_blank\">New York Times or Bloomberg reports<\/a><\/b> &#8211; or the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.manufacturedhomepronews.com\/writer-slams-manufactured-housing-communities-but-residents-love-life\/\" target=\"_blank\">Tampa Bay, FL news <b>report, where our Matthew Silver<\/b><\/a> correctly says takes good news and try&#39;s to twist it into a negative.<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<div>Or the almost purely good news report from CBS News, above! &nbsp;While the terminology obviously&nbsp;<span style=\"font-size: 12px;\">could<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 12px;\">&nbsp;be better, the report is quite fair and balanced.<\/span><\/div>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>On our public focused<strong><em> <a href=\"http:\/\/ManufacturedHomeLivingNews.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">ManufacturedHomeLivingNews.<\/a><\/em><\/strong><a href=\"http:\/\/ManufacturedHomeLivingNews.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">com<\/a> sister site, and here on <strong><em>MHProNews<\/em><\/strong>, we&#39;ve been raising the bar <a href=\"http:\/\/manufacturedhomelivingnews.com\/sensationalistic-cold-hard-lessons-of-mobile-home-u-new-york-times-article-by-gary-rivlin-draws-manufactured-home-industry-ire-desire-and-fire\/\" target=\"_blank\">on &#39;response&#39; coverage<\/a> as well as positive reporting about manufactured and modular housing. Did you notice how the CBS News report took a very similar take in their Sunday show report as we did in the article about the &#39;rich and famous&#39; living in modern manufactured homes, linked above? <\/p>\n<p>Coincidence?<\/p>\n<p><b>Attention Non-HUD, MOD and PreFab builders&#8230;<\/b><\/p>\n<p>Some in the MOD world think they can escape the &#39;image fight,&#39; HUDs have to face.<\/p>\n<p>Not so.<\/p>\n<p>Our housing products both come out of a factory and modular or prefab producers are wise to take the same tactic that the auto Industry has for decades. <i>You don&#39;t see Lexus bashing Corolla on TV ads, do you? &nbsp;<\/i>Or Chevette&#39;s putting down a Cadillac?<\/p>\n<p>Nor does that statement imply that MODs are superior to the residential style HUD code homes.
