MHProNews discovered recently that Princeton&#39;s WordNet is often the top definition that appears on Google, as shown below.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" height=\"222\" src=\"http:\/\/manufacturedhomepronews.com\/masthead\/wp-content\/uploads\/web-definition-manufactured-home(3).jpg\" width=\"400\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Let me say that we wrote <u><a href=\"mailto:wordnet@princeton.edu\"><b>wordnet@princeton.edu<\/b><\/a><\/u><b> <\/b>about this and got no reply. Then when we brought this arguably flawed and prejudicial &quot;definition&quot; to the Industry&#39;s attention. It sparked a series of emails to Princeton&#39;s <i>WordNet<\/i>, all calling for corrections. No surprise that Sam Landy&#39;s interview is drawing MHPros by the thousands along with numerous investors eyes too, with record pace readership currently indicated on <u><a href=\"http:\/\/MHProNews.com\/\" target=\"_blank\"><i><b>MHProNews<\/b><\/i><\/a><\/u>.<\/p>\n<p>Many market forces and dynamic factors lead on Thursday April 11 to UMH experiencing:<\/p>\n<p>An <b>opening of their stock <\/b>at 10.83, hit 11.24 before closing at 11.20, a gain of +2.94% which put it at the top of our <a href=\"https:\/\/www.manufacturedhomepronews.com\/skyline-falls-while-dow-and-sp-set-new-records\/\" target=\"_blank\"><u><i><b>Daily Business News<\/b><\/i><\/u><u><b> tracked stocks<\/b><\/u><\/a> for manufactured housing industry gains. Volume in shares traded Thursday was 182,649, well above the three months average of 41,743. Earnings growth last year was -21.43%, versus earnings growth this year of +218.18%. Revenue last year was $50.9 million. P\/E ratio of 101.8;&nbsp;Market Cap of $190.7 million; and a dividend yield of 6.43%.<\/p>\n<p>In a word, <i><b>impressive<\/b><\/i>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" height=\"337\" src=\"http:\/\/manufacturedhomepronews.com\/masthead\/wp-content\/uploads\/Mobile_home_park,_Orange_County wikimedia commons(1).jpg\" width=\"450\" \/><\/p>\n<p>But so to is our industry, and clearly more investors are beginning to see that reality!<\/p>\n<p>More examples of heated recent activity in our industry include, but aren&#39;t limited to:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<div><u><a href=\"https:\/\/www.manufacturedhomepronews.com\/northstar-purchases-sizeable-portfolio\/\" target=\"_blank\">NorthStar&#39;s purchase of 71 manufactured home land lease communities<\/a><\/u>.<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<div><u><a href=\"https:\/\/www.manufacturedhomepronews.com\/?p=22539\" target=\"_blank\">Yes! Communities purchasing 64 land lease communities<\/a><\/u> from ARC.<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<div>The resident owned communities world is getting a push in <u><a href=\"https:\/\/www.manufacturedhomepronews.com\/massachusetts-adding-cooperatives\/\" target=\"_blank\">MA from the Ford Foundation<\/a><\/u>, and perhaps no coincidence, <u><a href=\"https:\/\/www.manufacturedhomepronews.com\/?p=22520\" target=\"_blank\">ROC USA closed on another property<\/a><\/u> too.<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<div>In a scoop, MHProNews learned that <u><a href=\"https:\/\/www.manufacturedhomepronews.com\/2013-ncc-fall-leadership-forum-announced\/\" target=\"_blank\">Sam Zell, of ELS fame, has agreed to be a featured speaker at the first NCC annual fall leadership event for manufactured home community owner\/operators<\/a><\/u>.<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<div>In another scoop, the turn-out at MHI&#39;s annual Congress and Expo is headed toward recent record territory, as a source close to MHI tells us that the shakeup in the speaker&#39;s line up and overall good industry news are factors contributing to the increase attendance expected next week at the Paris Hotel&#39;s convention center in Las Vegas.<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<div>All of these above follows on the heels of increased attendance and performance at the recent <u><a href=\"http:\/\/louisvillemanufacturedhousingshow.com\/2013-louisville-show-wrap-reports\/\" target=\"_blank\"><b>Louisville Manufactured Housing Show<\/b><\/a><\/u> and the <u><a href=\"https:\/\/www.manufacturedhomepronews.com\/2013-tunica-manufactured-housing-show-\u2013-by-the-numbers\/\" target=\"_blank\"><b>Tunica Manufactured Housing Show<\/b><\/a><\/u>. The momentum and optimism in those those two trade shows can&#39;t be understated in their impact on the &#39;rising tide&#39; of manufactured housing.<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>MH Communities and Manufacturing <\/b><\/p>\n<p>The big moves in the MH Communities world are going to have an impact on the manufacturing side.<\/p>\n<p>When <i>Yes!<\/i>, NorthStar, UMH and others are investing in numerous acquisitions of MHCommunities, it is a safe bet that orders for new manufactured homes to fill vacant sites in land lease communities they purchased can&#39;t be far behind. We are also getting improving reports from MH Retailers in many parts of the country.<\/p>\n<p>The above ought not to be taken a mere cheer leading or euphoria. No one here is saying that our industry isn&#39;t without challenges, we report on those routinely too.<\/p>\n<p>But there is a growing realization that the future for our industry looks brighter than it has in years.
