Dictionaries are thought to have some &#39;authority,&#39; we expect their definitions to be accurate. Sadly, when it comes to defining a &quot;manufactured home,&quot; don&#39;t count on it.<\/p><div id=\"manuf-335546075\" class=\"manuf-content manuf-entity-placement\"><script async src=\"\/\/pagead2.googlesyndication.com\/pagead\/js\/adsbygoogle.js?client=ca-pub-3870480136270376\" crossorigin=\"anonymous\"><\/script><ins class=\"adsbygoogle\" style=\"display:block;\" data-ad-client=\"ca-pub-3870480136270376\" \ndata-ad-slot=\"\" \ndata-ad-format=\"auto\"><\/ins>\n<script> \n(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); \n<\/script>\n<\/div>\n<p>Who says so? Well, just take a look for yourself and see.<\/p>\n<p>The first result that pops up every time I ask Google on my iPad for the &quot;definition manufactured home&quot; is as follows:<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" height=\"250\" src=\"http:\/\/manufacturedhomepronews.com\/masthead\/wp-content\/uploads\/web-definition-manufactured-home.jpg\" style=\"\" width=\"450\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Do you see why this is not only disappointing, but arguably harmful to the image our industry? Do <em>you<\/em> want a &quot;house trailer?&quot; Do people who pay cash or have good credit aspire to own a &quot;house trailer?&quot; This came from Princeton U? &nbsp;You&#39;ve got to be kidding!<\/p>\n<p>But sadly, it is true. Let me suggest that we can&#39;t keep shrugging our shoulders and letting nonsense like this just slide by!<\/p>\n<p>I&#39;m beginning to think we need an &quot;Anti Defamation League&quot; for Manufactured Housing.<\/p>\n<p>This definition shown on Google, above, is from the WordNet project at Princeton.
