We\u2019re happy to field thoughtful questions and to provide responses, which may be private and\/or public.<\/p>\n<p>An MHI member asked us to publish MHARR\u2019s budget, as an Apples to Apples comparison to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.manufacturedhomepronews.com\/richard-jennison-manufactured-housing-institute-worth-millions-to-mh-industry-facts-from-mhi-report\/\" target=\"_blank\">MHI&#8217;s previously published budget<\/a>. See that suggestion\/request below \u2013 and the comparisons, as requested.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Comparing MHI and MHARR, \u201cApples to Apples\u201d<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Tony,<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #993300;\"><strong>&#8220;OFF RECORD<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #993300;\"><strong>It<\/strong><strong>\u00a0is all about perception. If you are going to single<\/strong> <strong>one organization, out you will be perceived with\u00a0typical media bias. I strongly suggest that you present the same info on MHARR as you have done on MHI. Another point in consideration is the current economy of each organization could be different from a few years ago. I believe comparing apples to apples will product<\/strong> <strong>more of an impact. Who remembers what you printed about MHARR a few years ago. I don\u2019t, do you remember the specifics? Probably not.&#8221;<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Typos are in the original, and by \u201c<strong><span style=\"color: #993300;\">product<\/span><\/strong>,\u201d it clearly means \u2018<strong><span style=\"color: #993300;\">produce<\/span><\/strong>\u2019 \u201c<strong><span style=\"color: #993300;\">more of an impact<\/span><\/strong>.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The MHI member\u2019s message above, and another prior to this one quoted above, was a request that makes good sense. \u00a0So, we&#8217;re happy to be fair and balanced on this, or any other matter.\u00a0 We want to be responsive to all perspectives, as much as is practically possible (given time or other constraints).<\/p>\n<p>Let me stress anew, that MHI is routinely given an opportunity to express themselves.<\/p>\n<p>As background, let&#8217;s note that I explained to the quoted writer\/MHI member above in the first message exchange that we had already published the MHARR budget on a prior occasion.<\/p>\n<p>Keep in mind that MHI claims to (from MHI website, Supplier\u2019s Division page):<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">\u201c<span style=\"color: #993300;\"><strong>MHI is the only national organization representing all segments of manufactured housing industry<\/strong><\/span>.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Compare that to what MHARR states as their focus (from their recent emailed news release).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><em>\u201c<\/em><span style=\"color: #993300;\"><strong>MHARR is a Washington, D.C.-based national trade association representing the views and interests of independent producers of federally-regulated manufactured housing<\/strong><\/span><em>.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Here&#8217;s where some of our industry colleagues who publish opinion columns miss the factual boat on MHARR.\u00a0 MHARR does not, and never has to date, claimed to be all things to all segments of the industry. \u00a0By contrast, MHI does make that claim.<\/p>\n<p>So, when MHARR is tackling an issue that goes beyond the immediate interests of a member producer of HUD Code homes, <em>they are going over-and-above their mission.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>That said, here are both the info published about Richard A. \u201cDick\u201d Jennison and the SVP for Government Affairs (lobbyist) at MHI and one about Danny Ghorbani and M.
