If laws were the only thing necessary to create goodness in people, then America ought to be an amazingly pure nation. There are estimates that between local, state and federal laws and regulations, the total number exceeds <b>1 million in the U.S. \u00a0<\/b><\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: Tahoma, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">The law-abiding strive to obey the law &#8211; <em>if they know about them at all<\/em> &#8211; but\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: Tahoma, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">the lawless could care less and don&#8217;t bother. \u00a0Therein lies the rub.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p><div id=\"manuf-3784919999\" class=\"manuf-content manuf-entity-placement\"><script async src=\"\/\/pagead2.googlesyndication.com\/pagead\/js\/adsbygoogle.js?client=ca-pub-3870480136270376\" crossorigin=\"anonymous\"><\/script><ins class=\"adsbygoogle\" style=\"display:block;\" data-ad-client=\"ca-pub-3870480136270376\" \ndata-ad-slot=\"\" \ndata-ad-format=\"auto\"><\/ins>\n<script> \n(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); \n<\/script>\n<\/div>\n<p lang=\"en-US\" align=\"LEFT\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: Tahoma, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">Go back in time, way before Moses came down from Mount Sinai with Ten Commandments carved in stone, carried in his powerful arms. Law alone is not able to stop free will the excercise in harmful ways.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p lang=\"en-US\" align=\"LEFT\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: Tahoma, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">How did that single law &#8211; straight from the Creator to the first couple &#8211; work out?<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p lang=\"en-US\" align=\"LEFT\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: Tahoma, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">Be it gun control, Dodd-Frank\/CFPB regulations, or HUD&#8217;s alleged preemption for manufactured housing, we see endless examples of laws that aren&#8217;t working as intended.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p lang=\"en-US\" align=\"LEFT\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: Tahoma, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\"> Chicago has tough gun laws, and parts of town are a war zone. France has tough gun laws &#8211; and it was illegal for those radical Muslim terrorists in Paris to have those weapons they used to shoot up the Charlie Hebdo offices last year. Did those gun laws\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: Tahoma, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">stop them? We all know, the answer is <strong>no.<\/strong>\u00a0 Creating explosive devices is illegal, yet the jihad-minded\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: Tahoma, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">Boston Marathon bombers did it anyway.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p lang=\"en-US\" align=\"LEFT\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: Tahoma, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">Part of what&#8217;s wrong for the manufactured housing industry is precisely the knee-jerk reaction all too common in the U.S. today\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: Tahoma, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">&#8211; an impulse\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: Tahoma, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">to pass a law or attempt to control or regulate almost everything. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p lang=\"en-US\" align=\"LEFT\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: Tahoma, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">Some laws are necessary and good. Regulations like the pending <a href=\"https:\/\/www.manufacturedhomepronews.com\/mhi-and-mharr-respond-differently-to-does-proposed-energy-standards\/\">DOE regs<\/a> are going to cost the industry serious money, cut off potenitally hundreds of thousands of home buyers a year, per the data used in the <a href=\"http:\/\/manufacturedhomelivingnews.com\/keeping-the-home-fires-from-burning-fire-safety-and-the-modern-manufactured-home\/\">NAHB&#8217;s priced- out report<\/a>.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p lang=\"en-US\" align=\"LEFT\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: Tahoma, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">A little common sense could go a long way.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p lang=\"en-US\" align=\"LEFT\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: Tahoma, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">In the wake of the 2008 financial meltdown, Congress ran to pass a law that is arguably harming millions of Americans today &#8211; Dodd-Frank as administered by the CFPB&#8217;s regulations. No wonder many Republicans want to just repeal, replace or reform the CFPB.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p lang=\"en-US\" align=\"LEFT\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: Tahoma, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">Democrats are often said to love laws, be it the gun control being pushed in the wake of the Orlando mass-murder committed by a jihadi terrorist, or ObamaCare (the misnamed ACA), Dodd-Frank or so many other laws designed to control wide swaths of the economy. \u00a0There are times that Republicans also embrace counterproductive regulations.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p lang=\"en-US\" align=\"LEFT\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: Tahoma, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">The result? We are seeing <strong>more businesses<\/strong><em> going out of business<\/em> today than are forming, for the first time in decades. Since small business is the proven driver for employment, how does sad fact of shrinking numbers of U.S. small businesses help job creation?<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p lang=\"en-US\" align=\"LEFT\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: Tahoma, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">They say you can&#8217;t legislate morality. That&#8217;s nonsense. All good laws are based upon eternal moral principles. &#8220;Thou shall not kill\u201c is a law in any civilized society. Moses received that law from the hand of God. Cain slew Able with a rock. Photo credit, Breitbart.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p lang=\"en-US\" align=\"LEFT\"><strong><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: Tahoma, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">Rock, Hammer or Club Control, Anyone? <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p lang=\"en-US\" align=\"LEFT\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: Tahoma, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">Rather than have a thousand laws on various forms of weapons or tools that misused could kill, a simpler law that defines murder as illegal could cover these issues so much more effectively.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p lang=\"en-US\" align=\"LEFT\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: Tahoma, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">We must return to common sense, which trumps politically correct or knee jerk laws almost every time. <b>When a group passes a law or pushes for a regulation,<em> it&#8217;s likely they have an agenda that serves them<\/em>, but harms others.<\/b><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p lang=\"en-US\" align=\"LEFT\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: Tahoma, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">This is why in America, citizens are supposed to be <strong><em>sovereign.<\/em><\/strong> <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p lang=\"en-US\" align=\"LEFT\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: Tahoma, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">The <strong><em>Constitution limits and controls government, <\/em>not people<\/strong>.
