In every aspect of manufactured housing, but perhaps most notably in the communities space, more consolidations are taking place. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Tahoma, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">Are mom and pop independents being marginalized by the growing maze of regulatory, finance and other pressures? <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Tahoma, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">Pro-active steps need to be taken by those whose interests are being the most impacted.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Tahoma, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">While activity at the national level in DC metro based associations continues, is there something MHPros can hang their hats on for relief from the pressures coming from HUD, CFPB, DOE, etc.? <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Tahoma, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">Don&#8217;t get me wrong, we along side and in support of MH pros \u2013 state associations and their members &#8211; plus others who want to see regulatory relief continue to work. Cordray&#8217;s contradictory position above and <a href=\"http:\/\/manufacturedhomelivingnews.com\/noise-and-smoke-vs-facts-about-manufactured-homes-and-lending\/\">previous <\/a>doesn&#8217;t seem to have raised enough eyebrows in DC&#8230;yet. \u00a0We&#8217;ll keep spotlighting it for you.<\/em><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Tahoma, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">The <a href=\"http:\/\/www.mhmarketingsalesmanagement.com\/home\/industry-news\/industry-in-focus\/11516-regulatory-impact-cfpb-rules-manufactured-home-buyers-sellers-a-lenders-richard-cordray-sen-joe-donnelly-et-al-video-report\" target=\"_blank\">CFPB is seemingly thumbing their nose at manufactured housing<\/a>. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Tahoma, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">We have strategic and tactical thoughts on this matter, but are keen to hear from others in the trenches before we roll those options out. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Tahoma, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">We&#8217;ll close on the good news, which is that MH shipments \u2013 the sales of new homes \u2013 continues to rise.
