Millions today feel the same. Growing sales graphic, credit <em>housingwire.<\/em><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p lang=\"en-US\" align=\"LEFT\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: Helvetica, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">Some in our MH Industry, even during the depth of the Great Recession of 2008-2009, we&#8217;re saying how profitable they were. One MHC pro told me then, &#8220;<span style=\"color: #993300;\"><strong><em>T<span style=\"color: #993300;\">ony<\/span><\/em><\/strong>,\u00a0<span lang=\"en-US\"><i><b>I&#8217;m working harder than ever before, but I&#8217;m also making more money than ever before<\/b><\/i><\/span><\/span>.&#8221; <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p lang=\"en-US\" align=\"LEFT\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: Helvetica, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">That&#8217;s not unique in the MHC sector, where REITs (Real Estate Investment Trusts &#8211; eg: ELS, SUN, UMH), mid-to larger companies and savvy independents are doing quite well. But that doesn&#8217;t mean that all in the MHC sector are soaring. Many have struggles.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p lang=\"en-US\" align=\"LEFT\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: Helvetica, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">We could say the same about other sectors in the Industry. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p lang=\"en-US\" align=\"LEFT\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: Helvetica, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">For example. Why are record numbers tuning into these early Republican and Democratic presidential debates? Part of the answer is suggested by polling, which shows that 2 out of 3 (some are as high as 70%) believe the nation is on the wrong course. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p lang=\"en-US\" align=\"LEFT\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: Helvetica, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">So millions are: <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p lang=\"en-US\" align=\"LEFT\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: Helvetica, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><strong><em>Feeling the Bern<\/em><\/strong> of self-proclaimed socialist, Bernie Sanders, or <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p lang=\"en-US\" align=\"LEFT\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: Helvetica, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">are rooting for The Donald to <em><strong>Make America Great Again<\/strong><\/em>, <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p lang=\"en-US\" align=\"LEFT\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: Helvetica, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">or are for the surging retired brain surgeon, Dr. Ben Carson; <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p lang=\"en-US\" align=\"LEFT\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: Helvetica, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">and so on down the list.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p lang=\"en-US\" align=\"LEFT\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: Helvetica, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">The reason that Speaker of the House John B<span lang=\"de-DE\">oehner<\/span> is exiting is because enough of his fellow Republicans were mad as hell at how he caves into the POTUS Obama Agenda. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p lang=\"en-US\" align=\"LEFT\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: Helvetica, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">There and millions of voters are mad as hell, and like Howard Beal in the movie<strong><em> Network<\/em><\/strong>, are not going to take it any more. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p lang=\"en-US\" align=\"LEFT\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: Helvetica, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">Pundits in the spring of 2015 thought insider Jeb Bush was &#8216;inevitable.&#8217; Now, they&#8217;re talking about the very real possibility that Jeb could be toast by the time the South Carolina primary hits next spring. \u00a0There are talking heads who think Bush could find a reason to drop out before the primaries start, if his poll numbers don&#8217;t rise rapidly.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p lang=\"en-US\" align=\"LEFT\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: Helvetica, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">America isn&#8217;t just angry on the right. There is anger on the left too. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p lang=\"en-US\" align=\"LEFT\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: Helvetica, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">While Democrats might be seen as more cohesive than Republicans in recent years, that doesn&#8217;t mean there isn&#8217;t frustration in their camp. Isn&#8217;t it ironic that the <strong><em>Black Lives Matter<\/em><\/strong> movement is taking off during the time when the U.S. has its first black president? Isn&#8217;t it odd that under this president, we&#8217;re seeing more minority unemployment, more on food stamps, more on welfare, more violence in the cities, etc.? <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p lang=\"en-US\" align=\"LEFT\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: Helvetica, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">For all the hoopla over the ACA (ObamaCare):<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p lang=\"en-US\" align=\"LEFT\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: Helvetica, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">premiums are rising, <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p lang=\"en-US\" align=\"LEFT\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: Helvetica, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">state exchanges are imploding after hundreds of millions in losses,<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p lang=\"en-US\" align=\"LEFT\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: Helvetica, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">millions are still uninsured. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p lang=\"en-US\" align=\"LEFT\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: Helvetica, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">None of the grand ObamaCare expectations of money saved, promises of keeping your doctor or coverage are being met. \u00a0The ACA\/ObamaCare has never been popular with the majority of Americans. \u00a0Yet we still have it. \u00a0How is that democratic? <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p lang=\"en-US\" align=\"LEFT\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: Helvetica, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">So of course there is anger, when so many politicos are not even talking about issues like ObamaCare that much.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_9944\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-9944\" style=\"width: 231px\" class=\"wp-caption alignright\"><a href=\"http:\/\/manufacturedhomepronews.com\/masthead\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/06\/30-ironwood-justice-il-staircase-up-to-second-level-manufactured-home-living-news--e1434809836727.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" wp-image-9944\" src=\"http:\/\/manufacturedhomepronews.com\/masthead\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/06\/30-ironwood-justice-il-staircase-up-to-second-level-manufactured-home-living-news--150x113.jpg\" alt=\"30-ironwood-justice-il-staircase-up-to-second-level-manufactured-home-living-news-\" width=\"231\" height=\"174\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-9944\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Affordability is relative! All demographic and income groups are discovering modern manufactured housing. But regulators are often a barrier to more MH sales and greater acceptance.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p lang=\"en-US\" align=\"LEFT\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: Helvetica, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">We won&#8217;t tick through all the foreign and domestic policy issues, charges of corruption or mismanagement, that are the cause of the angst and anger on both sides of the political aisle. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p lang=\"en-US\" align=\"LEFT\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: Helvetica, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">Sufficient to say that when most Americans are seeing their incomes fall since 2007, those who are better off are in the minority. There is risk in that reality. \u00a0But there are also <em>opportunities&#8230;<\/em><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p lang=\"en-US\" align=\"LEFT\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: Helvetica, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><span lang=\"en-US\"><b>Ignore the Anger at your Peril or Tap into it for Your Benefit<\/b><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p lang=\"en-US\" align=\"LEFT\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: Helvetica, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">As an association member and supporter, we hear from those who are not in an association or those who are in, but are not happy. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p lang=\"en-US\" align=\"LEFT\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: Helvetica, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">Some see MH associations in almost political party terms. Establishment members, and the silent majority. There is some affluence too, which the <a href=\"http:\/\/manufacturedhomepronews.com\/masthead\/another-big-mh-deal-warren-buffett-grabbing-nettles\/\" target=\"_blank\">big deals that are cooking<\/a> or the Carlyle deal noted above exemplify. But those big deals\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: Helvetica, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">can actually fuel the apathy and anger. Thousands in MH, and t<\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: Helvetica, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">ens of millions of Americans are\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: Helvetica, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">mad as hell. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p lang=\"en-US\" align=\"LEFT\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: Helvetica, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">There is certainly opportunity in our economic and political malaise.
