The big differences? Photo credit, The Enquirer.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Nathan&#8217;s time as Chairman was not without controversy, which the<a href=\"http:\/\/www.mhmarketingsalesmanagement.com\/home\/featured-articles\/september-2015\/10162-controversial-media-reports-the-guardian-a-kvue-on-the-record-interview-with-frank-rolfe-of-mobile-home-university-mobilehomeparkstore-rv-horizons\" target=\"_blank\"> recently published comments by Frank Rolfe &#8211; linked here &#8211; is an example<\/a>. In his own words, he often acknowledged &#8220;sharing the love&#8221; (campaign donations) with the Democratic candidates he often felt more personally aligned with, while still sharing that same kind of &#8220;love&#8221; with Republican candidates too.<\/p>\n<p>Publicly and privately, the other MHI Executive Committee members seemed unconcerned wth the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.manufacturedhomepronews.com\/school-buses-cant-pick-up-students-in-some-kentucky-mh-communities-due-to-snow-and-ice-on-streets\/\" target=\"_blank\">periodic local news flaps Smith\/SSK <\/a>encountered, valuing the many hours and resources that Smith donated to MHI&#8217;s causes.<\/p>\n<p>Controversies aside, there is no doubt that MHI is in a better place today than during the bottom of the Great Recession of 2008. While that wasn&#8217;t any one person&#8217;s doing, Smith no doubt worked to do his part.\u00a0 Our <a href=\"http:\/\/www.mhmarketingsalesmanagement.com\/home\/featured-articles\/cup-of-coffee-interviews\/6985-a-cup-of-coffee-withnathan-smith\" target=\"_blank\"><strong><em>A Cup of Coffee with&#8230;<\/em>Nathan Smith<\/strong>, is linked here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Tim Williams, 21st Mortgage, new MHI Chairman<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Politically and in terms of their personalities, it&#8217;s hard to imagine two more diverse leaders than the outgoing Smith and the new MHI Chairman, Tim Williams.\u00a0 While Williams is not shy, he is soft spoken compared to the boisterous Smith.
