{"id":2290,"date":"2015-04-01T11:19:42","date_gmt":"2015-04-01T16:19:42","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.manufacturedhomepronews.com\/industryvoices\/?p=2290"},"modified":"2015-04-01T11:19:42","modified_gmt":"2015-04-01T16:19:42","slug":"2015-tunica-mh-show-numbers-exceed-past-years","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.manufacturedhomepronews.com\/industryvoices\/2015-tunica-mh-show-numbers-exceed-past-years\/","title":{"rendered":"2015 Tunica MH Show Numbers Exceed Past Years"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, sans-serif;\">With the new location of the Tunica Show at the Resorts Casino and Hollywood Casino, we as the SCMHI Board were anxious to see if the number of attendees would change or even decrease this year.\u00a0 The number of attendees actually exceeded our expectation and even surpassed the past three years Tunica Show attendance numbers.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, sans-serif;\">The 2015 attendees were as follows: 1013 retailers, 82 community managers,\u00a0 61 builder\/developer, and 36 installers.\u00a0 With the exhibitor attendees, the total attendance for the show was 2239.\u00a0 MMHA along with AMHA thanks all of the attendees \u00a0for making this year\u2019s Tunica Show a huge success by your participation.\u00a0 A special thank \u00a0you to all of our Sponsors for their continued support of the Tunica Show.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, sans-serif;\">I made it a point to visit\u00a0 with several retailers and community managers from various states during the show to get their feed back on the new location and lay out of the show and I heard nothing but\u00a0<span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">POSITIVE<\/span>\u00a0comments.\u00a0 They liked the convenience of all of the display homes being in one area;\u00a0 the lunch area being inside to avoid weather elements; the supplier exhibit area layout; \u00a0and the informative educational seminars.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, sans-serif;\">They also commented on the positive attitude of the employees of the two hotels and casinos and how much they made them feel welcomed. \u00a0I also heard positive comments from the manufacturers and suppliers that they had a very good show.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, sans-serif;\">There was lots of activity in both the supplier exhibit area and the display home area, retailers and mangers came to buy this year.\u00a0 \u00a0Certainly we can continue as a Board to make improvements at this new location and we always welcome input from our attendees.\u00a0 I think we are off to a good start for the 2016 Tunica Show.
