If you don\u2019t have all the business or clients that you want, maybe you simply need to have more sales conversations. That was a challenge I laid down to my Marketing Mastermind group last month, and one couple jumped to action with IMMEDIATE results.&rdquo;<\/i><\/p>\n<p>That bit of advice came to me from <a href=\"http:\/\/twitter.com\/bernadettedoyle\" target=\"_blank\"><b>Bernadette Doyle<\/b><\/a> <a href=\"http:\/\/www.clientmagnets.com\/\" target=\"_blank\"><b>of ClientMagnets.com<\/b><\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Although Bernadette was talking about direct face-to-face selling of services, I couldn&#8217;t help but think how it applies to what we do. When a local business posts an update to their blog, comments on <a href=\"http:\/\/www.facebook.com\/orangecatdotcom\" target=\"_blank\"><b>Facebook<\/b><\/a> or <a href=\"http:\/\/twitter.com\/bobstovall\" target=\"_blank\"><b>Twitter<\/b><\/a> or sends an email update to their list, <b>they are having a &#8220;sales conversation&#8221; with their market<\/b> even if they aren&#8217;t overtly selling.<\/p>\n<p>That&#8217;s because <b>all of us like to do business with those we know, like and trust<\/b>. The process of relationship building is helped along each time we do one of those things.<\/p>\n<p>But to work really well, these things have to be done consistently. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.tonyrobbins.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Tony Robbins<\/a> puts it this way: <i>&ldquo;It&#8217;s not what we do once in a while that shapes our lives, but what we do consistently.&rdquo;<\/i> It can shape our lives and it can shape our businesses.<\/p>\n<p><b>One of the great things about marketing online is that your target audience needs to do something to respond to your message &#8211; if you are doing it right.<\/b> The act of taking action means they will most likely pay closer attention to your message than they will using passive media.<\/p>\n<p>So if you&#8217;re not as busy as you&#8217;d like to be, or if you&#8217;re not making as many sales as you&#8217;d like, <b>think about what you can do to have more sales conversions<\/b>, either face-to-face or using your online marketing strategy.<\/p>\n<p>Start taking advantage of this strategy today and you&#8217;ll see results in no time.<\/p>\n<p>There&#8217;s a great book named <a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/gp\/redirect.html?ie=UTF8&#038;location=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.amazon.com%2Fs%3Fie%3DUTF8%26x%3D0%26ref_%3Dnb_sb_noss%26y%3D0%26field-keywords%3Dsocial%2520networking%26url%3Dsearch-alias%253Dstripbooks%23%3Furl%3Dsearch-alias%3Dstripbooks&#038;tag=orangecatinterne&#038;linkCode=ur2&#038;camp=1789&#038;creative=390957\"><b><i>Social Networking for Business<\/i><\/b><\/a><img loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.assoc-amazon.com\/e\/ir?t=orangecatinterne&#038;l=ur2&#038;o=1\" width=\"1\" height=\"1\" border=\"0\" alt=\"\" style=\"border:none !important; margin:0px !important;\" \/> that can get you on the right track for using Social Media to start more Sales Conversations.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/bobstovall.com\/are-you-having-enough-sales-conversations\/\" target=\"_blank\">This post originally appeared on BobStovall.com on Memorial Day 2009.<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>&ldquo;Are you having enough SALES CONVERSATIONS?
