You have to understand their perspective, because it\u2019s their point of view that will cause them to buy, or not.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Fear of Loss, Desire for Gain<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Among the motivators for humans is the fear of loss, and the desire for gain.<\/p>\n<p>We humans don\u2019t want to make a mistake (<strong>fear of loss<\/strong>).\u00a0 We do want to progress (<strong>the desire for gain<\/strong>).<\/p>\n<p><strong>Duh! Less than 1%&#8230;<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p>Ouch, but <strong>odds are<\/strong>, <strong><em>your website is not better than theirs at conversion ratios<\/em><\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>And certainly, you want to be in front of those <a href=\"http:\/\/www.mhmarketingsalesmanagement.com\/component\/banners\/click\/158\">MHVillage<\/a> home shoppers.<\/p>\n<p>This question of <u>conversion ratios<\/u> isn\u2019t just a question for <a href=\"http:\/\/www.mhmarketingsalesmanagement.com\/component\/banners\/click\/158\">MHVillage<\/a>, it\u2019s a question for every:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Manufacturer<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Retailer<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Communities<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Lenders<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Suppliers<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Installer\/Transporter<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Service Provider <\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Association <\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Yes, the attorney or CPA that serve our industry ought to care about those conversion ratios. Every factory worker who wants more job security, or who wants to see his friend hired at the plant, should care. We could be selling more homes than at any time since the mobile home era. Logistics, and your willingness to adapt, change and invest in your own operation is the only things holding you back.<\/p>\n<p>You should care about is YOUR operation, YOUR location.\u00a0 Take care of your location(s), and you\u2019ll be doing your part to raise the industry\u2019s total numbers.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Pieces of the Marketing Puzzle <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>So, it isn\u2019t just one piece of the puzzle that will get you there for the vast majority of buyers.<\/p>\n<p>There\u2019s a range of things every home shopper is doing and cares about. Until they check off enough boxes, they won\u2019t buy from you, period.<\/p>\n<p>One more example.\u00a0 Reputation management is HUGE with buyers.\u00a0 We don\u2019t do that, but <a href=\"http:\/\/www.mhmarketingsalesmanagement.com\/component\/banners\/click\/151\"><strong>Wayne Coakley at Grenade Marketing<\/strong><\/a> does.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Media, Public Relations, and YOU<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>At the upcoming Tunica Manufactured Housing Show, we will be doing a special seminar <strong>on Engaging the Media<\/strong>. Good media is a useful part of the marketing\/sales puzzle.<\/p>\n<p>Getting useful, third party media isn\u2019t a snap of the finger, or everyone would be doing it.\u00a0 But it is doable, and easier than you may think.\u00a0 For most of our clients, the top end potential is limited only by logistics.\u00a0 There is that much more business in your market.
